How Do I Join?
ROMAC meetings are held at 8 a.m. the third Thursday of each month at the
Recreation Department at 72 Eyland Avenue in Succasunna. A continental
breakfast is provided. Come to our meeting and let us know you would like
to help out. YOU HAVE JOINED!
What does it cost?
There is no cost for membership in ROMAC except the investment of your
interest, ideas and talents.
What are the qualifications to belong?
That you have a desire to help Roxbury be a healthy, drug-free community.
Who are the members?
ROMAC is made up entirely of volunteers. Members are general citizens,
criminal justice officials, police officers, educators, treatment personnel,
business people, Roxbury Municipal Employees, clergy and school board
members. They come from all walks of life and economic backgrounds,
male and female. They share an interest in being participants in community
efforts to provide accurate information about alcohol, tobacco and other
drugs of dependence and abuse to Roxbury citizens.
How large is ROMAC?
ROMAC has a mailing list of 37 people. Usually there are between 15 and
20 people at our meetings.
